신생아에서 심한 안와골 결손을 동반한 교세포 분리종

Abstract

교세포 분리종은 정상적인 성숙된 교세포 조직이 두개강 또는 척추강에서 발견되는 덩이로 정의할 수 있다. 일반적으로두개 외 정중구조물에서 발생하는데 코를 많이 침범하며 그 외에 비인두, 구강 인두 그리고 구개에서 발견된다. 두개 외정중외구조물을 침범하는 것으로 흔하지 않는 것으로 두피, 안와, 중이 그리고 유양동을 침범한다. 특히 정중구조물과정중외구조물을 침범하는 경우는 드물어 전체의 약 10% 정도를 차지한다. 또 교세포 분리종은 대개 성인에서 많이 보고되고 다수의 경우에서 선행요인으로는 외상, 수술 그리고 만성 염증과 연관이 있다고 보고되었다. 이에 저자들은 정중구조물인 비인두, 구강 인두, 구개 그리고 정중외구조물인 안와를 침범한 선행요인이 없는 신생아의 증례를 보고한다.

Glial choristoma is a mass-like lesion composed of otherwise normal, mature brain tissue that is isolated fromthe spinal cord and cranial cavity. In generally, this choristoma involves extracranial midline structures, especiallythe nose, as well as the nasopharynx, oropharynx and cleft. Glial choristomas rarely involve extracranialnon-midline structures such as the scalp, orbit, middle ear or mastoid and account for approximately 10% ofall glial choristomas. Moreover, such glial choristoma presentations are usually seen in adults, most of whomhave predisposing factors such as trauma, surgery, or chronic inflammation. Here, we present a case of a glialchoristoma that invaded a neonate’s the nasopharynx, oropharynx, oral cavity and orbit.
