한국 화주기업의 물류아웃소싱 요인이 아웃소싱수준과 기업성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

Abstract

경제의 글로벌화는 국제무역의 증가와 글로벌 경영의 확대를 가져왔으며 이는 화주기업에게는 글로벌 공급사슬관리의 중요성을 인식시켜주고 있다. 이에 따라 최근 기업들은 물류관리의 아웃소싱을 전략적으로 추진하고 있다. 물류아웃소싱은 다양한 동기적 요인에 의해 결정되고 있을 뿐만 아니라 어느 수준으로 추진하느냐에 따라 아웃소싱 성과로 달라질 수 있다는 점에서 물류 아웃소싱에 대한 실증적 연구가 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에 의하면 우리나라의 화주기업의 물류아웃소싱에 대한 비중 또는 수준은 선진국에 비해 낮은 수준에 머물고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 물류아웃소싱의 기본적 기능에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 정보시스템의 활용/호환, 비용절감, 서비스수준, 복잡성 등 모든 변수가 유의한 것으로 나타나, 화주기업들은 물류 아웃소싱 시 기본적 기능에 역점을 두고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 종합적으로 볼 때 우리나라 화주기업들의 물류아웃소싱에 대한 경영적 접근은 제한적 수준에 머물러 있는 것으로 나타났다.

Globalization of economy has brought the increase of international trade and the extension of global management, which makes Korean firms to recognize the importance of global supply chain management. According to this, recently companies tend to outsource strategically logistics management. Logistics outsourcing is decided by various motivations and it can be also differed by the result of outsourcing depending on the outsourcing level. In this respects, the practical study on logistics outsourcing is of importance. The conclusion of this study was made as followings: First, it is indicated that the importance or the level of logistics outsourcing of Korean firms is still lower than advanced countries. Second, it is shown that the factors impacting on the basic function of logistics outsourcing are usage/compatibility of information system, cost-saving, service level, and complexity, all variables are significant statistically. In addition, companies focus on a basic function in case of logistics outsourcing. According to this study, it is concluded that managing access of Korean firms to logistics outsourcing is still remained in limited level.
