청소년의 자살충동에 대한 가족 영향력 분석: 자살충동 궤적에 따른 집단 간 차이를 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 청소년의 자살충동에 대한 가족요인의 영향력을 살펴보기 위해 첫째, 청소년 자살충동이 시간에 따라 어떤 변화양상을 보이는지 분석하고, 둘째, 청소년 자살충동의 발달궤적(developmental trajectory)에 따라 구분된 집단간 가족 기능적 측면의 요인들의 영향력 차이를 확인하였다. 제3-7차 한국청소년패널데이터(Korea Youth Panel Survey, KYPS)를 사용하였으며, 부모-자녀간 애착, 부모의 자녀에 대한 감독, 부모와 부모-자녀간 불화 및 학대, 부모-자녀 관계 내 스트레스 잠재변인으로, 자살충동을 종속변수로 추출하였다. 주목할 만한 연구결과로 첫째, 준모수적집단중심모델(semi-parametric group-based modeling)을 사용한 자살충동 잠재계층은 크게 증가집단, 중수준 유지집단, 감소집단, 고수준 유지집단의 4개 계층으로 구분되었다. 둘째, 독립표본 t-검증과 잠재평균분석(latent mean analysis)을 활용하여 4개 잠재계층의 잠재변인 평균 차이를 확인한 결과 특히 자살충동 경향이 증가한 집단의 부모-자녀간 애착과 부모의 자녀에 대한 감독의 수준이 높게 나타났다. 이에 가족의 긍정적 기능에 대한 재고찰의 필요성을 제기하였다.

This study investigated the family functional factors for youth suicidal impulse using a national longitudinal data, KYPS, from 3rd grade in middle school to the 1st year after high school graduation. Using the semi-parametric group-based modeling, the suicidal impulse levels were classified by 4 latent groups; increasing group, intermediated-level group, decreasing group, high-level group. Result from independent T-test and the latent mean analysis showed that means of parental attachment and parental monitoring, which perceived positive family functional factors were noticeably high in the increasing group. From these research findings, it is suggested that more sophisticated perception for ‘positive family functions’ should be needed based on different developmental trajectories.
