도덕교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식과 실태에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 도덕교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식과 실태를 분석하여 유아 도덕교육 이해 및 효과적 운영에 기초정보를 제공하는 데 있다. 도덕교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식과 실태를 파악하기 위해 문헌분석, 전문가 집단, 유아교사와의 협의를 통해 연구도구인 설문지를 개발한 다음 연구 자료를 수집하였다. 설문지는 ‘유아 도덕교육에 대한 교사의 인식’과 ‘유아 도덕교육에 대한 실태’의 2개 영역 총 25문항으로 구성하였다. 연구대상은 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 222명의 유아교사들이었으며, 수집된 자료는 x2, t-검증, One-Way ANOVA를 통해 분석하였고 집단 간의 차이 분석은 Scheffé 검증을 통해 추후분석 하였다. 연구결과, 도덕교육에 대한 유아교사의 인식과 실태는 교사의 배경변인에 따라 부분적으로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the status and early childhood teacher's awareness of moral education for young children. A questionnaire was developed based on prior literature, research and arrangements with early childhood professionals. The questionnaire is composed of 2 items of 25 questions related to 'general awareness of moral education for young children' and 'status of moral education for young children'. The subjects in this study were 222 early childhood teachers. Data analysis was conducted by x2-test, t-test, One-Way ANOVA and Scheffé. The results of this study indicated that there were partially significant differences among the groups in the status and teacher's awareness of moral education for young children. Finally, ways to promote efficiency of moral education for young children were discussed in this study.
