청소년의 가정환경 요인, 적응유연성 및 가출충동이 가출행동에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구에서는 청소년 가출행동에 영향을 미치는 가정환경적 위험요인 및 보호요인, 적응유연성 및 가출충동 변인간의 인과적 관계를 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 서울 및 경기 지역 중․고등학생 1,508명이 최종분석 대상으로 선정되었으며, 이들의 평균연령은 16.3세이었다. 연구문제에 대한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가출에 영향을 미치는 가정환경적 요인으로, 위험요인은 부부갈등, 문제형 의사소통, 과보호적양육태도, 부모방임, 부모학대, 부모약물․흡연으로 나타났으며, 보호요인은 민주적 양육태도, 개방형 의사소통, 가족지지, 부모애착, 부모감독으로 나타났다. 둘째, 가출에 영향을 미치는 요인간의 구조적 관계를 살펴보면, 가출행동은 가출충동에 의해서만 정적 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 가출충동은 위험요인에 의해서 정적 영향을 받으며, 적응유연성에 의해서는 부적 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 적응유연성은 위험요인에 의해 부적 영향을 받으며, 보호요인에 의해서는 정적 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났고 보호요인은 위험요인에 의해서 부적 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과, 가출과 관련한 위험요인이 가출충동에 직접적인 영향을 주어 가출행동을 유발시킬 수 있지만, 가정 내의 적절한 보호적 기제가 작용한다면 청소년 개인의 적응유연성을 향상시켜 결과적으로 가출충동을 완화시킬 수 있는 것으로 나타났다.

This study was to examine the relationships between risk and protective factors, resilience, runaway impulse, and runaway behavior among adolescents. Subjects were 1,508 middle and high school students in Seoul, and Gyeonggi Province, Korea. Their average age was 16.3 years (SD=1.36). Measures of students' risk and protective factors, resilience, runaway impulse, and runaway behavior were obtained. Structural equation modeling techniques were used to test the relationships among the variables. It was found that adolescents' risk factors directly influenced protective factors, resilience, and runaway impulse. Adolescents' resilience which was directly influenced by protective factors, influenced directly runaway impulse. Adolescents' runway impulse only directly influenced their runaway behavior. The impacts of risk and protective factors, and resilience on runaway impulse and behavior are discussed.
