산업연관분석을 이용한 고령친화관련식품부문의 타산업 파급효과에 관한 연구

Abstract

본 연구에서는 산업연관분석을 이용하여 고령친화관련 중심적인 식품군이 될 가능성이 높은 특수용도식품과 건강기능식품부분이 타산업에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 그 크기를 전체식품산업의 영향력과 비교하였다. 현재 한국은행에서 제시된 산업연관표 상에서 특수용도식품/건강기능식품들을 포함하고 있는 76-기타식료품을 외생화하여 연구를 진행하였다. 그리고 전체식품부문과 고령친화관련부문을 비교하기 위해, 관련 전문가 85명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 기타식료품부문과 특수용도/건강기능식품의 부가가치와 고용 창출 그리고 타산업에 미치는 파급효과에 대한 의견을 측정하였다. 결과를 보면, 전체음식료품부문은 농림수산부문에 가장 많은 생산을 유발하고, 다음으로 화학제품, 도·소매, 부동산 및 사업서비스, 석유 및 석탄제품, 운수 및 보관, 광산품 순으로 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 기타식료품부문은 전체음식료품에 가장 많은 생산을 유발하고, 다음으로 농림수산부문, 화학제품, 부동산 및 사업서비스, 석유 및 석탄제품, 광산품, 운수 및 보관, 도·소매 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 전체식료품부문보다 기타식료품부문이 타산업에 미치는 생산, 부가가치, 고용유발효과 모두 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 전문가 설문조사 결과 특수용도식품/건강기능식품이 기타식료품 평균보다 타산업에 미치는 파급효과가 크다는 의견이 나타났다. 따라서 이는 특수용도식품/건강기능식품의 파급효과가 전체식료품부문의 평균적인 파급효과보다 크다는 것을 의미한다.

This study attempts to analyze the ripple effects of the sectors of foods for special dietary uses and health functional foods that would be main products for foods-for-elderly, using the input-output model. Further, the effects were compared to those of the entire food industry. Research questions in this study are 1) which industry will be the most significantly affected by the growth of the foods-for-elderly sector and 2) whether or not the production inducement effects by the foods-for-elderly sector surpass those by the entire food industry. Results show that the entire food and beverage industry has the highest ripple effect on agriculture, followed by chemicals, wholesale and retail, real estate and business services, petroleum and coal products, transport and storage, and mining products. The other-groceries sector has the highest ripple effect on the entire food and beverage industry, followed by agriculture, chemicals, real estate and business services, petroleum and coal products, mining products, transportation and storage, and wholesale and retail. Results further suggest that the sizes of production inducement, employment inducement, value-added inducement effects of the other-groceries sector exceed those of the entire food and beverage industry. The results of the survey toward experts in the food sector present that the ripple effects of the special dietary uses and health functional foods are larger than those of the other-groceries sector. It therefore suggests that in terms of the ripple effect, the special dietary uses and health functional foods that would be the main items for foods-for-elderly are superior to the entire food industry.
