Abstract
The Vlasov-Maxwell-Chern-Simons system is studied. Global existence of classical solutions is proved, and then its nonrelativistic limit is investigated. When the speed of light tends to infinity, it is proved that solutions of the Vlasov-Maxwell-Chern-Simons system converge to solutions of the Vlasov-Yukawa system in a suitable sense.
