- Abstract
- This article describes a symmetric capacitor-compensated microstrip directional-coupler design with very high directivity. The compensation capacitors are incorporated between the coupling lines as interdigital type on the PCB board. The prototype directional-coupler shows 19.6 dB coupling factor and achieves very high directivity of more than 45 dB at 1.9 GHz. (c) 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
