한국 발달장애인 성년후견인의 경험에 관한 연구 - 공공후견활동을 중심으로 -

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 발달장애인 성년후견인들의 공공후견활동 경험을 규명하여 후견활동을 설명 할 수 있는 새로운 지식과 이론적 토대를 구축하는 것이다. 연구 질문은 “성인발달장애인 공공후견인의 후견활동 경험은 어떠한가? 성인발달장애인 공공후견인의 후견활동 과정은 어떠한가?”이며 연구방법은 근거이론을 적용한 질적 연구를 수행하였다. 분석결과, 개방코딩을 통해 156개의 개념과 45개의 하위범주, 15개의 범주가 도출되었다. 연구결과 ‘법과 인정(人情)의 경계와 비경계 사이에서의 혼돈’이라는 중심 현상과 그와 관련된 다양한 맥락의 경험들이 나타났고 경험들 간의 과정 중심의 이론이 도출되었다.

The purpose of this study is to establish new knowledge and a theoretical foundation that can explain the guardianship by analyzing the experience process of public guardianship of guardians for adults with developmental disabilities. Research questions are “What is the guardianship experience of public guardians for adults with developmental disabilities?” and “What is the guardianship process of public guardians for adults with developmental disabilities?” For the purpose, we have implemented a qualitative research on inductive knowledge for a new field applying a grounded theory for the development of a substantive theory using a process-oriented approach. As a results of analysis, open coding, 156 concepts , 45 subcategories, and 15 categories were derived. As the central phenomenon, ‘Confusion between boundary and non-boundary of law and compassion’ and variable context was derived. On that basis, we explored ways to apply the result of this research to the sites of public guardianship by providing process theoretical and practical implications on the guardianship.
