Abstract
A triangular resonator based on the surface plasmon resonance of attenuated total reflection (ATR) mirrors is proposed and analysed for the first time. An extinction ratio of 58 dB is observed near lambda = 1554.557 an along with a resonance angle of 17.777 degrees and a gold thickness of 33 nm in the ATR mirror.
