직장어린이집 이용만족도와 부모의 결혼만족도가 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 직장어린이집 이용만족도와 결혼만족도가 양육스트레스에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것을 그 목적으로 한다. 서울과 경기지역에 위치한 7개 직장보육시설을 이용하는 학부모 320명을 대상으로 설문조사가 이루어졌고, 성실히 응답한 195명의(남 99, 여 96명)자료가 분석되었다. SPSS프로그램을 사용하여 기초통계분석, 상관분석 그리고 단계선택방식, 다중투입방식의 회귀분석이 실시되었다. 연구결과 직장어린이집을 이용하는 학부모들은 높은 수준의 서비스만족도를 보이고 있었고 또한 이들의 결혼만족도는 높았고 양육스트레스는 중간수준을 보였다. 직장어린이집 이용만족도와 결혼만족도는 통계적으로 유의한 수준에서 양육스트레스와 부적상관성을 보였고, 직장어린이집 이용만족도와 결혼만족도 간에는 통계적으로 유의한 정적상관성을 보였다. 또한 회귀모델검증에서 직장어린이집 이용만족도와 결혼만족도 모두 양육스트레스에 유의한 영향을 미치고 있었다. 성별에 따른 하위집단의 분석 결과, 남성 학부모 집단보다 여성 학부모 집단에서 연구자들이 제안한 모델의 설명력이 더 높게 나타났고, 남성 하위 집단 모델분석에서 직장어린이집 이용만족도만이 유일하게 양육스트레스에 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 결과들은 직장환경에서의 일⋅가정양립을 위한 지원이 부부관계와도 연관성을 보이고 있었고 나아가 직장어린이집 이용만족과 결혼만족은 영유아기 학부모들의 양육스트레스에 중요한 영향을 미치고 있음을 보여준다. 이를 바탕으로 연구자들은 직장어린이집의 양적 확충과 더불어 질적 향상의 중요성을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences from the user satisfaction in the employer-supported child care centers(later ESCCC) and the marital satisfaction(later MS), on parenting stress(later PS) among the working parents with young children. To accomplish the research purpose, a survey data set drawn from 195 individuals whose children in their infancy and early childhood attending at 7 ESCCC in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. By using SPSS, descriptive statistics, correlations, stepwise and multiple regressions were analyzed. The findings from this study showed, parental satisfaction in ESCCC and their MS levels were high while their PS levels were low. PS was negatively correlated to MS as well as parental satisfaction in ESCCC at the statistically significant level. Also, MS and parental satisfaction in ESCCC were positively correlated to each other. The results from the series regression models showed, after controlling for the child age and sex, parental satisfaction in ESCCC and MS significantly predicted parenting stress among the working parents. Especially the models with working mothers showed large explanation power of PS models than those with working fathers. It was concluded that the family friendly work environments such as ESCCC might promote working parents’ well-being by supporting their parenting as well as marital relationships. Also, the importance of ESCCC in terms of expansion in quantities and qualities was emphasized.
