- Abstract
- Mononuclear mixed-anions Mn complex of TPAMn(eta(2)-NO3)(eta-C1O(4)), where TPA is tris(2-pyridylmethyl)amine, has been synthesized and characterized. The neutral TPAMn(eta(2) -NO3(eta-C1O(4)) was obtained from the reaction between -Mn(NO3)(2).4H(2)O and [H(3)TPA](C1O(4))3 in MeOH. X-ray crystallographic structure of mononuclear TPAMn(eta(2) -NO3)(eta-C1O(4)) complex showed a seven-coordinated geometry with a tripodal tetradentate TPA, a terminal perchlorate and an eta(2) -bound nitrate.
