- Abstract
- The dynamical properties of the brain wave in rat epilepsy have been investigated to estimate the effect of electro-acupuncture therapy by using linear and nonlinear analyses. For the linear analysis, a histogram analysis and a power spectrum analysis have been performed. For the nonlinear analysis, the Kaplan-Yorke dimension and the Kolmogorov entropy are used. Throughout the linear and nonlinear analyses, distinct differences between before and after electro-acupuncture therapy have been observed. This work concludes that electro-acupuncture therapy can provide a promising method for treating the human epilepsy.
