스낵 영상 콘텐츠의 표현 방식

Abstract

스마트폰의 대중화로 영상콘텐츠의 소비패턴이 변화하게 됨에 따라 새롭게 출현한 것이 ‘스낵콘텐츠(Snack Contents)’다. 스낵콘텐츠는 스낵처럼 가볍게 집어먹을 수 있는 콘텐츠로, 스마트기기를 이용해 짧은 시간에 관객의 흥미를 끄는 가벼운 형태의 영상이다. 이러한 스낵콘텐츠는 교육, 뉴스, 오락 등 다양한 형태로 제작된다. 스낵영상의 경우 짧은 시간 단순한 형태로 내용을 전달하기 위해서 기존 형태의 영상과는 달리 직관성과 경제성을 주된 제작 원리로 취하고 있다. 이들 스낵영상의 제작방식은 허버트 제틀이 말한 귀납적인 방식을 사용할경우, 간단한 클로즈업을 활용하되 단점을 대사와 같은 사운드로 보완하는 식이 된다. 여기에 스낵 콘텐츠의 산만한 시청환경을 고려할 때 연역적 방법도 또 하나의 유력한 수단이 될 수 있다. 그러나 직관성과 경제성을 구현하기위해서는 무엇보다 중요한 것은 동작의 효과적인 연출이다. 스낵영상은 부드럽고 정확한 동작보다는 주로 ’키 포즈(key pose)’를 위주로 한 ‘포즈 투 포즈(pose to pose)’와 단순하지만 힘 있는 ‘동작 선(line of action)’을 활용해 표현의 직관성과 제작의 경제성을 해결한다.

This is also the case for a short moving image that attracts the viewer’s interest in a short time using a smart device. It takes various forms such as education, news, and entertainment. These snack contents take the intuitiveness and economics as the principle of composition in order to deliver contents in a simple form in a short time. As a result of analyzing the snack images from this viewpoint, it was confirmed that when using the inductive approach, the close-up are used but the dialogue is actively utilized to express the effect. In a distracting viewing environment, it is necessary to utilize the dedu ctive method, which can be more intuitive in that it is a method of extracting visual concentration by analyzing it as a key element in the whole. Another element is the expression using the motion of the body. This is why expression using motion in snack images is very important. It is possible to achieve sufficient effect by using simple action and accurate pose. It can be seen that snack images consumed at the present time are not largely deviated from these methods.
