청소년의 문화예술교육 경험 차이와 효과 연구: 학생 청소년과 학교 밖 청소년 비교

Abstract

본 연구는 학생과 학교 밖 청소년의 문화예술교육 경험과 효과, 효과 영향 요인에 대한 비교를 통해 청소년 문화예술교육 정책 개선을 위한 시사점을 찾는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구대상은 학생과 학교 밖 청소년이며, 회수된 설문지 가운데 학생 3,076부와 학교 밖 청소년 411부 설문지를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 문화예술교육의 경험에 있어서 학교 밖 청소년은 학생에 비해 문화예술교육의 초기 진입이 늦고, 문화예술교육의 참여분야가 다소 다르다. 학교 밖 청소년은 학생에 비해 문화예술교육 장기 참여보다는 단기 참여를 하고 있지만 최근 문화예술교육 투입 시간이 증가하고 있었다. 또한 학교 밖 청소년은 학생보다 문화예술교육 만족도와 효과가 통계적으로 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 문화예술교육 효과에 영향을 미치는 요인은 청소년의 재학 여부에 따라 차이가 있었다. 이러한 결과에 근거하여 학생과 학교 밖 청소년의 문화예술교육을 향상시킬 수 있는 방안에 대해 정책적인 제언을 하였다.

This study aims to find implications for improving youth arts and cultural education policy by comparing students and out of school youth’s experiences and factors affecting the effects of the arts and cultural education. The subjects of this study were 3,076 students and 411 out of school youth. The main findings of this study are as follows: First, in the experience of the arts and cultural education, out of school youth are a little later to enter the arts and cultural education than students, and the field of participation is somewhat different. Out of school youth are participating in short-term rather than students, but there has been an increase in the amount of time spent on the arts and cultural education. Also, the satisfaction of the arts and cultural education among out of school youth was statistically higher than those of students. Second, factors affecting the effects of the arts and cultural education differed depending on whether youth were enrolled or not. Based on these results, we made policy suggestions on how to improve the effects of the arts and cultural education for students and out of school youth.
