위기가족 경험에 관한 질적 연구

Abstract

본 연구는 위기가족이 겪는 어려움과 위기극복자원, 외부로부터의 지원욕구를 심층적으로 분석하여 효율적인 위기가족 지원서비스 마련의 기초자료로 활용하고자 하였다. 총 14사례의 위기경험가족을 3개월에 걸쳐 심층면접을 실시하였고 내용분석을 통해서 개인적, 가족적, 사회적 차원에서의 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 위기가족이 겪는 어려움은 개인적 차원에서는 부정적 정서 상태와 일탕행동이 나타났으며 가족차원에서는 가족관계가 소원해지며, 질병발생과 돌봄 부담이 증가하였고, 사회적 차원에서는 지지체계의 부족과 사회적 편견으로 인한 어려움이 있음을 호소하였다. 둘째 피면접자들이 가진 위기대처자원으로는 긍정적 생활태도와 미래에 대한 희망의 개인적 자원, 가족의 유대감과 부모로서의 책임감, 원가족 으로부터의 지지와 같은 가족자원, 공식·비공식적 지원체계의 사회적 자원보유가 위기극복에 도움이 되는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째 위기가족이 원하는 외부적 지원으로는 개인적으로 위기대처능력과 자활을 위한 지원, 정서적 지원을 받기를 희망하였고, 가족차원에서는 돌봄 지원과 경제와 주거생활의 기초생활지원 확대, 의료지원 확대를 기대하였고 사회적 차원에서는 현재의 정책홍보, 위기에 대한 관련기관의 적극적인 개입이 될 수 있기를 원하는 것으로 나타났다.

In today's complex and diversified society and unpredictable situations often occur; however it is increasingly the case that families are unable to respond the appropriately in a crisis situation. The purpose of this study are to investigate problem, coping resources, support needs of crisis family and to develop alternatives for crisis family. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interview with half-structure questions for 2 hours of 14 families who had experienced a crisis. The results are as follows. First, The problems experienced by the families in crisis were negativity, emotional responses, deviant behaviors, financial problems, distanced relationship, disease diagnoses, the increased burden of caring for family members, social prejudice, and a lack of social support resources. Second, the coping resources of families in crisis were having a positive attitude about life, having hope for the future, being responsible parents, receiving support from extended family and formal or informal support systems. Third, the support needs of the families in crisis were supports for the ability to cope with the crisis; supports for self-sufficiency skills, the expansion of economic support, medical support and housing support, the support of child care, emotional support; the promotion of policy and the active intervention of government.
