제품－서비스 통합시스템을 기반으로 한 학습기 개발사례 -전자사전 디자인 중심으로-

Abstract

최근 들어서 기업 간에 경쟁이 치열해지고, 자원고갈 문제가 심각해짐에 따라 기업의 가치 창출 구조가 변화하고 있다. 과거에는 제품을 생산하는 제조 부문이 가치창출에 핵심적인 역할을 담당했다면, 최근에는 서비스 부문이 상대적으로 높은 가치를 창출하고 있다. 따라서 제조 기업들은 서비스 중심의 패러다임 변화에 대처하면서 새로운 비즈니스 모델의 창출로 경쟁력을 강화시킬 수 있는 제품과 서비스를 융합한 방법을 찾는데 관심을 갖기 시작했다. 그러나 아직은 많은 전문 디자인 기업뿐만 아니라, 많은 제조 기업에서도 전략 기반의 제품－서비스 디자인 프로세스를 구축하거나 보유하고 있지 못한 실정이다. 현재 성균관대 창의성 디자인연구소와 중앙대 산업디자인연구소가 함께 진행 중인 ‘제품 서비스 디자인 통합 시스템 연구’를 기반으로 PSS (Product Service System)디자인 프로세스를 효율적으로 제품디자인 개발에 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 타진하고자 본 연구를 실행하였다. PSS 디자인 프로세스 구축 과정의 분석 관찰과 인지과정 모델링을 위한 사례 도출을 위해 전자사전용 학습기를 연구 분석의 대상제품으로 선정하였다. 전자 사전의 사용을 PSS 디자인 프로세스에 적용하고 사용자 행위분석을 통하여, 실제 제품 서비스 개발 과정에 필요한 프로세스를 연구하였다. 결과적으로 PSS 디자인 전략 프로세스의 적용과 관찰 분석을 통하여, 전자사전용 학습기가 사용자에게 디자인적인 요소보다는 학습을 위한 통합적 서비스 시스템이 더욱중요한 것임을 본 연구의 결과로서 예측되어졌다.

Nowaday, business competitions are getting more tough, and the enterprising structure of creating core value are changing dynamically with risky perception of wasting row materials. Even though manufacturing area which was producing products was taking the main roles of creating core value for the industry in the past,but service areas are relatively getting more involved in creating higher value recently. Manufacturing companies begin to have an interest in exploring methodologies which are merging product and service development enforcing competent power with new business models,as they are disposing on the change of new paradigm oriented service. However, besides of major design companies, many manufacturing companies do not have or develop a strategic product-service design process. Based on the study of Product-Service System and PSS Design Process which is developing by cooperating CDI at Sungkyun-Kwan Univ. and DMC at Chung-Ang Univ., the study was implementing for searching a possibility and a proper application of product design area efficiently. A digital learning book was selected as a studying product to develop a analysing observation and perceptional modeling of constructing procedure on the PSS design process. The study was concentrated on the developing process which was essential for creating practical result of product-services according to the user research and analysing user activities conducted by applying PSS design process. Conclusionally, this study was suggested a main clue of output issues which was more important with integrated service system point rather than styling product design point to user of a digital learning book related a digital dictionary,according to an analysis of applying and observing the product-service system design process.
