프레임(Frame)을 활용한 교차토론 방법 연구

Abstract

이 연구의 목적은 프레임 이론을 이용하여 교차토론의 방법을 이해하는 데 있다. 토론은 현대 사회에서 논리적이고 합리적인 사고를 발달시키고 상대를 인정하는 포용적 정신을 가지게 하는 데 필수적인 교육 방법이다. 이러한 교육을 실현하기 위하여 CEDA 방법이 주로 활용되고 있다. 이 방법의 주요 특징은 교차토론인데 이 교차토론이 참여자에게 생소한 이유로 많은 오류가 나타난다. 이에 프레임 이론을 활용하여 교차토론의 방법을 생각해 보고자 하였다. 본고에서 제시한 토론 과정에서의 리프레이밍 방법으로는 다음의 두 가지를 제시하였다.

1) 프레임 안의 전경과 배경의 변화：상대측이 제시하고 있는 논점의 프레임의 다른 의미에 대한 지적을 통한 게슈탈트적 배경의 전경으로의 활성화 2) 상대측의 프레임 자체의 부정과 대상의 다른 프레임의 생성

이러한 본고의 논의는 논리적인 토론 능력을 기를 수 있는 방법이 될 수 있을 것이다. 그러나 학습자를 위한 실험적인 교육 방법론을 제시하지 못한 아쉬움이 있다. 이는 차후 현장에서 더욱 깊이 있게 연구되어야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to understand the method of Cross- Examination based on the Frame Theory. In today’s society, the debate education is not only to develop logical and rational thinking, but also to be a help to become a broad-minded person. These days the Cross- Examination Debate is used mainly in order to carry out the effectiveness of the debate education. But Cross-Examination Debate is not familiar to students. So Students make a lot of mistakes in the middle of debating. For this reason, we study teaching method of Cross-Examination based on the Frame Theory. Two method are suggested in this study. The method are as follows;1) The change of figure and ground in the Frame. 2) The negation of opponent’s Frame or the creation of a new Frame This study could lead to way of developing the ability to debate logically, but I would like to have suggested more experimental teaching method for learners. the experimental teaching method should be deeply studied in educational practice in the near future.
