대학생의 지적능력에 대한 신념, 목적설정 및 학습접근책간의 관계모형 탐색

Abstract

본 연구에서는 대학생의 지적능력에 대한 신념과 성취목적지향, 및 학습접근책간의 상호관련성을 살펴보고 학습접근책의 하위요인에 영향을 끼치는 지적능력에 대한 신념과 성취목적지향의 하위요인을 밝혀보고자 하였다. 학습자의 지적능력에 대한 신념으로 지적능력의 항상성에 대한 믿음과 지적능력의 향상가능성에 대한 믿음을 살펴보았으며, 성취목적지향으로 숙달목적, 수행접근목적, 및 수행회피목적을 살펴보았다. 학습접근책의 유형으로는 피상적 접근책, 심층적 접근책, 및 성취적 접근책을 살펴보았다. 본 연구는 서울, 부산, 경기도, 및 충청남도에서 수학하는 대학생 579명을 대상으로 하였다. 본 연구결과, 대학생들의 성취목적지향은 전반적으로 지적능력에 대한 신념에 의해 영향을 받으며, 이들의 성취목적지향은 다시 학습접근책에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

This study was to explore the causal relationship between students' beliefs about intellectual ability. achievement goal orientation, and learning approach. Subjects were 579 college students in Seoul, Busan, Kyongki Province, and Chungchong Province, Korea. Their average age was 22.75 years. Measures of students' beliefs about knowledge, achievement goal orientation and learning approach were obtained. Structural equation modelling techniques were used to test the relationships among the variables. It was found that students' beliefs about knowledge influenced their learning approaches to studying via their achievement goal orientation.
