인터랙티브 아트에서 관객의 시각적 경험에 관한 연구 –포트레이트와 융합을 중심으로-

Abstract

우리에게 유명한 레오나르도 다빈치(Leonardo da Vinci)의 모나리자(Mona Lisa)부터 지갑 속 주민등록증의 사진까지 포트레이트(Portrait)는 인류의 역사에서 늘 함께했다. 기록의 산물 이였던 포트레이트는 시대의 흐름이 반영되며 예술적 표현 가치로서 인정받게 되었다. 특히 오늘 날에는 다양한 매체와 융합한 새로운 형태의 포트레이트가 등장했다. 이와 같이 새로운 매체를 활용한 포트레이트의 구축은 전시 형태의 변화를 주도하고 있으며, 포트레이트의 미래를 제시하고 있다고 평가할 수 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 포트레이트의 변화에 주목하고 포트레이트와 인터랙티브 아트(Interactive Art)가 융합된 작품에서 관객의 시각적 경험을 연구하는 것에 있다. 이를 위해 연구자는 포트레이트와 인터랙티브 아트의 개념과 특징에 관한 이론적 고찰을 바탕으로 인터랙티브 아트와 결합된 포트레이트의 시각적 경험 관한 설문을 실시하고 결과를 도출하였다. 이는 새로운 매체와 융합된 포트레이트 전시에 대한 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있다는 측면에서 유의미함을 갖는다.

From the famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci to a photo ID card in your wallet, portraits have always existed in the art history of humankind. Portraits, which are the artistic records of people, have also proved their value as artistic expressions throughout time. In particular, there is now a new form of portraits, one that is integrated into various media. Building a portrait using new media is a leading reason for the changes in exhibition types and suggests the future of portraits. This study aims to focus on such changes in portraits and to investigate the visual experiences in works integrated with interactive art. For this, the author conducted a survey on visual experiences combined with interactive art based on the theoretical considerations ofthe concept and the characteristics of portraits and interactive art, and presents the results. This is significant in terms of providing the implications for portrait exhibitions integrated with new media.
