웹 데이터를 이용한 이미지의 텍스트 시각화 구현

Abstract

인터넷 시대의 시작으로 기존에 우리가 사용하던 데이터는 디지털화 되었다. 디지털 시대가 시작됨에 따라 웹이라는 공간에서의 이미지와 텍스트 데이터의 양은거대해 졌다. 본 논문에서는 NHN의 네이버에서 제공 되는 오픈 API를 이용하여 텍스트 데이터를 이미지로 시각화 한다. 기존 타이포그라피는 그래픽 툴로 대부분의 작업이 이루어지고 있으며, 최근 자동 생성을 위해 스크립트를 제공하고 있지만 활용범위가 넓지 못하다. 프로그래밍을 이용해 제작된 이미지의 활용도는 지속적으로 높아지고 있으며, 디자이너에게도 지속적인 프로그래밍 언어의 습득이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서 제시하고 있는 방식은 프로세싱언어(Processing)를 이용해 제작된 프로그램을 통해 오픈 API의 XML 파일을 분석함으로써 웹상의 데이터를 직접 가져와 자동으로 이미지에 맞는 내용의 텍스트로 이미지를 생성하게 된다. 시각화된 결과 이미지는 2차 가공 시 기존 작업에서의 수작업 의존도를 줄이고 광고, 영상, 사진 등 각 분야에서 결과물 제작 소스로 디자이너와 제작자가 적극적으로 활용 가능하게 하고자 한다.

Since the appearance of the Internet, almost all the analog data that we used has become digitalized. The amount of digital data available is seemingly infinite and overgrowing. This thesis is about the visualization of online data through computer programming using Open API from NHN and Naver. Most of typography is made graphical tools. Recently, the tool support script language for auto generation but typography has a high level of dependence on manual. Designer will learn a programming language. this program of paper made to use Processing language in Processing. It is automatically generate text images by using open API and XML files. result images can be used for advertisement, pictures and videos
