- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to examine how demand for NCS-based job training and job-preparing competence differ according to the major and major satisfaction of undergraduates having a major related to physical education and how demand for NCS-based job training influences their job-preparing competence. The subjects of this study are 430 undergraduates having a major related to physical education in K University and C University located in Gyeonggi. To process data, SPSS 23.0 was utilized, and frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, the independent sample t-test, and multiple regression analysis were done. Through the procedure, this author has gained following results.
First, regarding the difference of demand for NCS-based job training and job-preparing competence according to their major, all the subfactors except for recognition on efficient institutions indicate significant difference. Second, concerning the difference of demand for NCS-based job training and job-preparing competence according to their major satisfaction, all the subfactors show significant difference. Third, among the factors of demand for NCS-based job training, the program factor significantly influences all the factors of job-preparing competence, confidence in job information, effort for career preparation, and recognition on the area of aptitude.
