- Abstract
- 본 연구는 유아의 주된 생활환경이며 삶의 공간 그 자체인 거주지역의 환경특성과 가정에서의 유아의 일차적인 친사회적 태도와 행동의 모델인 부모의 환경소양이 유아의 환경에 대한 태도 형성에 중요한 영향을 미치는 변인이라고 보고, 그 관계를 밝힘으로써 유아의 환경에 대한 태도 증진을 위한 교육 방안을 개발하는데 있어 기초 자료로 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울과 강원도의 유아 282명을 대상으로 환경에 대한 태도를, 그 부모 341명을 대상으로 환경에 대한 태도와 환경보전행동의 실천정도를 조사하였다. 연구결과, 강원도 유아가 서울의 유아보다 환경에 대해 긍정적인 태도를 지니고 있었으며, 유아의 환경에 대한 태도는 부모의 환경보전행동과 정적인 상관관계가 있음이 나타났다. 이를 통해, 유아의 환경에 대한 건전한 태도 증진을 위해서는 직접적인 자연체험의 기회를 최대한 제공하고 부모들은 적극적인 환경보전행동을 실천한다는 점을 제시할 수 있다.
