dc.description.abstractLee, Jinhwa. 2006. Korean Children's Acquisition of English Interrogatives. Korean Journal of English Language and Linguistics 6-3, 637-653. This study investigated Korean children's acquisition of English questions, focusing on syntactic development. The study found that the ESL learners acquired wh-fronting more easily than do-fronting. This difference in level of difficulty, viewed from the Principles and Parameters framework, is traceable to the universality and non-universality of major syntactic operations involved in the derivation of question sentences.-
