동북아 FTA 전망과 전자상거래 활성화 방안

Abstract

This study is to review the Korean's role in Northeast Asia and the countermeasures by viewing the prospects for FTA and activating the e-trade with the countries in Northeast Asia that enter into competition with us.As Northest Asian region, especially China and Japan, has a great effect on Korea in political, diplomatic, security, and even cultural aspects as well as in economic relations, the question of how Korea will establish relations with these nations can be regarded as a key issue in Korea's foreign policies.Given the repercussions that the Korea-China-Japan FTA will bring about to neighboring countries or trading counterparts as well as relevant countries directly related to the FTA, enough time for in-depth review is needed. Indeed, the FTA and e-Commerce cooperations between the three countries in Northeast Asia will face many problems and obstacles, but they will have to continue to be improved and supplemented together with economic cooperation. In addition to those cooperations, since the FTA between the Northeast Asia's three nations should be negotiated comprehensively not only for commodity trade but also for service trade, it is envisioned that circumspect plans for each area will have to be fully searched for.
