- Abstract
- The purpose of this study is to investigate the comparative study in entrepreneurship programs of Korean and US graduate schools and to provide a suggestions for competitive programs. This study analyzed the curricula of five Korean graduate schools and ten US graduate schools. The findings are: firstly, it was revealed that the curriculum of Korean schools is composed of principles of entrepreneurship, 13%, entrepreneurial environment and preparation, 24%, innovation and change, 11%, management and strategy, 19%, industry-based entrepreneurship, 10% and case development and seminar, 23%. Secondly, the curriculum of US schools is composed of principles of entrepreneurship, 8%, entrepreneurial environment and preparation, 20%, innovation and change, 17%, management and strategy, 25%, industry-based entrepreneurship, 24% and case development and seminar, 6%. Thirdly, there is no significant difference between Korean and US schools in terms of expertise, distinction, and diversity of curricula. Some implications are included.
