한·중·일 3국의 가치변화 성향 분석- 신세대와 기성세대간 비교 -

Abstract

본 연구는 기성세대를 대표하는 것으로 판단되는 45세 이상 연령층과 신세대의 가치관을 대표할 수 있는 대학생을 대상으로 양 계층 간 차이정도가 어떠한지를 살펴보았다. 동시에 우리와 동일한 문화권을 형성해 왔던 중국과 일본을 비교 대상으로 하여 전통적 가치와 자유/평등 가치, 물질/탈물질 가치, 법·제도적 가치의 차이를 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 최근 우리사회에서 일고 있는 변화 수준이 어떠하며, 변화의 흐름이 어떤 방향으로 전개되는지를 파악코자 하였다. 연구결과 ① 한국의 가치변화는 모든 부문에서 매우 급속히 진전되고, ② 이러한 변화는 남성 주도적으로 진행되고 있으며, ③ 변화방향은 전통가치는 감소하고, ④ 평등가치와 탈물질 가치는 증가하며, ⑤ 준법의식 및 제도순응 의식은 낮아진다는 사실을 발견하였다. 또한 각 분야별 변화정도에 있어서도 중국이나 일본보다 더욱 뚜렷하다는 점도 확인할 수 있었다.

This study examines the ideological changes according to generations. This study analyzes how the personal ideological values, that is, traditional values, libertarian and egalitarian values, material and postmaterial values, legal/institutional values are differentiated by people's age. From this research, the main purpose is to clarify the ideological change of the nations. This research finds that ① ideological change of Korean is much faster than Chinese and Japanese, ② the change is mainly initiated by Korean men, ③ traditional values of Korean are diminished, ④ egalitarian and postmaterial values of Korean are increased, and ⑤ legal/institutional values of Korean are decreased.
