Abstract

This study aims to improve competitiveness of the domestic long piece animation. For this , the concept of a plot ,which is the most important element of developing story-telling in a long piece animation , is established and on the basis of the study of a plot ,six principles of a good plot are presented. with these six principles , plots of successful cases and failures are compared and analysed to learn a lesson. As a result, in case of a successful cases of a long piece animation , there was a well composed plot . In case of a failure of a long piece animation, there was a confusing plot. The most important element of success in a long piece animation is not a gorgeous scene but a story which attracts and gives interest to the spectators and the good composition of a plot is the basis of the story.
