- Abstract
- The problem of renewal of existing deterioated residential areas is renewed separately by residential environment improvement·residential redevelopment·reconstruction and programs are done by criteria of individual processes regardless of urban dimension about district. To solve these problems, government are willing to manage deteriorated residential areas by legislating Built Environment Renewal Development Act from the second half of the year 2003. However, there are possibilities that existing problems would start a vicious circle because analysis methods of concrete appoint criteria or development density control, which are presented in Omnibus Act, are not thoroughgoing enough yet. Therefore, this study is focused on the renewal district evaluation and detailed classification, which should be considered and handled importantly above all ,in Built Renewal Development. In this study, on the whole, I intended to present the direction which should be reflected in Built Environment Renewal Development Act Enforcement Ordinance and Built Environment Renewal Development master plan by presenting Built Environment Renewal Development master plan process. In addition, this study can be made practical application in conjunction with management plan of the area of consultation in residential area classification.
