- Abstract
- 정부가 외국인근로자를 위한 고용허가제를 도입하여 2007년 1월부터 시행함에 따라 국내 건설현장의 외국인근로자 고용은 증가하고 있으며, 기능 및 비기능 외국인근로자는 건설현장의 주요 인력으로 활용되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 외국인근로자의 효용성과 근로실태를 분석하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 수도권 지역 38개의 공동주택 건설현장에 종사하는 외국인근로자 및 이를 고용하고 있는 현장관리자를 대상으로 설문 및 면담조사를 실시하였으며, 조사된 결과는 과거 정부가 시행한 산업연수생제도와 비교∙분석하였다. 본 연구를 수행한 결과, 산업연수생제도에서 발생된 많은 문제점이 아직 개선되지 않고 있으며, 이러한 문제를 해결하고 외국인근로자를 효율적으로 활용하기 위해 개선방안을 제안하였다.
