- Abstract
- 본 연구는 총 18개 산업 부문에 대해 1998년부터 2004년까지 기간 중 미국 50개주의 주별 산업특화와 해당 주의 기업과 주정부의 관계를 패널 회귀분석을 통해 고찰한다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과는 금융, 교통 산업 부문의 산업특화는 기업의 규모가 클수록 심화되며, 농업, 부동산, 교육 부문의 산업특화는 주정부의 효율성과 밀접한 관련이 있다는 증거를 제시한다. 본 연구의 실증결과는 산업특화 정책을 제고하는 데 있어서 해당지역의 기업과 지방정부의 역할을 고려해야 한다는 시사점을 제공한다.
