- Abstract
- 본 연구는 피해범주를 달리한 다양한 위협소구를 사용하는 환경광고의 설득효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 특히, 메시지의 단순한 효과보다는 수용자의 특성으로서 환경 가치 지향을 매개변인으로 사용하여 메시지의 설득효과를 알아보았다.
280명의 대학생을 대상으로 질문지와 세 종류(피해 범주에 따른)의 광고자극을 제시하여 실험을 실시하였다.
연구 결과, 수용자 특성으로서의 환경 가치지향에 따른 환경행동의도에는 차이가 나타났으나, 피해범주에 따른 환경광고 유형의 효과는 발견되지 않았다.
또한, 피해범주에 따른 환경광고 메시지 유형의 효과는 개인이 갖는 환경 가치지향과 일치할 때, 유의미한 환경행동의도의 차이를 보였다. 이는 다른 공익광고에 비해 피해의 대상과 범위가 큰 환경광고에 있어 수용자의 특성을 고려하여야 한다는 것을 의미하는 것이다.
This research investigated fear appeal's persuasion effect in Green Advertising. Especially, the purpose of the study is to find the message effect on fear appeal's persuasion by mediating role of environmental value orientation in Green Advertising. Three advertising stimulus are made according to the target of damage-Biocentric, Altruistic, Individualistic. The sample for the research was recruited from students in Chung-Ang Univ, they are exposed one of advertising stimulus. The results of empirical testing are as follows. First, there are no difference on persuasion effect according to the target and range of the damage in green advertising. Second, the difference appeared in the environment deed according to environmental value orientation. Biospheric group pursuing higher environmental deed than other groups. Lastly, As the environmental value orientation is coincides with the target of damage, recognition of seriousness about environmental problem is increased.
