성인모색기(emerging adulthood) 대학생의 성찰학습과 고용가능성의 관계에서 감성지능의 매개효과

Abstract

한 개인의 생애 발단단계에 있어 성인모색기는 지속적인 성찰과 평생학습을 통해 자신의 고용가능성을 개발해가는여정의 출발점이다. 본 연구는 성인모색기에 해당하는 대학생의 성찰학습과 고용가능성의 관계에서 감성지능의 매개효과를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 연구를 위해 성인모색기에 있는 남녀 대학생 250명을 대상으로 온/오프라인 설문을실시하였다. 유효한 216부의 자료를 활용하였고 SPSS 22.0과 Amos22.0을 통해 변인간의 관계를 구조방정식으로 분석하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 성인모색기 대학생의 성찰학습은 고용가능성과 유의미한 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 성인모색기 대학생의 감성지능은 고용가능성에 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것을 확인하였다. 셋째, 성인모색기대학생의 성찰학습과 고용가능성의 관계에서 감성지능은 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 감성지능은 두변인 간에 완전매개변인으로 역할을 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이 연구에서 성인모색기에 있는 대학생의 성찰학습은감성지능을 통해 고용가능성에 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인하였으며, 성인모색기의 특성을 반영한 성찰학습과 감성지능, 고용가능성의 상호관계를 검증하였다는 이론적 시사점을 도출하였다. 이러한 결과는 대학에서 학생들의 고용가능성을향상시킬 수 있는 방안을 수립하는 데 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

In the developmental stage of a person's life, the emerging adulthood is the cornerstone of his or her journey to develop his or her employability through constant reflection and lifelong learning. The purpose of this study is to analyze the mediating effect of emotional intelligence on the relationship between reflective learning and employability of university students in the emerging adulthood. For this study, on-line and off-line surveys were conducted on 250 male and female university students in the emerging adulthood. The results of the study were as follows. First, the reflective learning of university students in the emerging adulthood was not significantly correlated with the employability. Second, the emotional intelligence of university students in the emerging adulthood was significantly correlated with the employability. Third, emotional intelligence was analyzed to have a mediating effect in the relationship between reflective learning and employability of university students in the emerging adulthood. Therefore, emotional intelligence was found to play a role as a fully mediating variable between the two variables. By this study, it was confirmed that the reflective learning of university students in the emerging adulthood affected the employability via the emotional intelligence. Theoretical implications were derived in that it verified the mutual relationship between reflective learning and emotional intelligence and employability reflecting the characteristics of the emerging adulthood. These findings are expected to be used as significant data for formulating strategies to improve the employability of students by university authorities.
