Abstract
The Effects of Pilates reformer exercise on foot Pressure, Sagittal alignment and forward head posture in the women with forward head posture. The subjects of this study were women who were measured 59° in CVA(craniocerebral angle). 16 women were randomly divided into two groups, Pilates Reformer Exercise Group(PEG) and Control Group(CG). The measurement items were foot pressure, sagittal alignment(SVA, pt) and FHP(CVA, CRA). PEG conducted pilates reformer exercise program for 50 minutes a day, three days per week for 8 weeks. Intensity was 11-15. Data analyzing method were two-way repeated ANOVA using SPSS 21.0. Statistical significance was set at the level of p<.05. First, there was no significant difference in right-left foot pressure, but a difference in fore-rear foot pressure was shown. Second, Sagittal alignment showed a statistically significant difference in SVA and pt than before the practice of pilates reformer exercise. Especially, A notable effect was seen in pt. Third, there was significant difference in CVA between pilates exercise group and control group. As seen above, the application of the pilates reformer exercise for women in FHP showed that it has an effect on the improvement of front·back foot pressure, and sagittal alignment(SVA, pt), the increase in CVA and the decrease in CRA.
