- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to investigate relationship between NEO-PI-R and leisure behavior predicted factors in leisure behavior(sport). In doing this, We used the “Questionnaire of leisure behavior predicted factors” developed kim(2001), and used the '“Questionnaire of Personality" officially approved by Korea Guidance, which was first developed in the name of NEO-PI-R by Costa and McCrae(1992), was translated into Korea and examined by Lee(1993), and was reexamined again by Yoo, Kim, Lee(1997). The subjects totalled 240 person(144=mail, 95=female) who participating in leisure sport and exercise sport. The age of subjects ranged from 18-24(M=21.54). We used the correlation and regression in analysis of the relationship of NEO-PI-R factors and leisure behavior predicted factors. The results of regression analysis indicated that "extroversions", “neuroticism" was significant to the prediction of leisure participation in the TPB and MCTRA model factors. Based on these results, the usability of the NEO-PI-R model for the purpose of leisure behavior in a variety of settings, the limitations of this study, and future research tasks were discussed.
