Abstract
e-Learning을 통한 HRD 프로그램의 경우 훈련참가자들이 사회적 상호작용에 참여할 기회가 제한되므로 HRD 프로그램의 효율적인 실행을 위해서 학습자들을 적절히 동기화시키는 것이 무엇보다도 요구된다. 목표지향(Goal Orientation)은 조직구성원으로 하여금 훈련을 위한 학습과 수행을 동기화 시킨다는 점에서 고려해야 할 중요한 동기변인이 될 수 있다. 따라서, 본 연구의 목적은 목표지향이론의 관점에서 HRD에서 학습 및 수행을 촉진시키기 위한 동기전략들을 제시하는 데에 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 HRD의 두 가지 패러다임인 학습 패러다임과 수행 패러다임을 살펴보고, 이들을 촉진시키기 위한 동기전략들을 제시하고자 한다.
The success of any organization is dependent on its ability to maximize the abilities of its workforce. To enhance the productivity of any organizations, acquiring new knowledge and skills through HRD training programs os necessary. Motivation is a key factor to be considered for increasing the effectiveness of HRD training programs in e-Learning environments because learners have limited opportunity to interact each other in such environments. Goal orientation is an important motivation variable because it guides trainees` intrinsic motivation in HRD program. Recently, some researchers have suggested that a person`s goal orientation can be modified by contextual factors that influence goal orientation. However, very few studies have been conducted to examine the contextual factors that increase goal orientation in the area of HRD. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to examine motivation strategies that ate designed to improve trainee`s learning and performance in HRD programs. To achieve this purpose, first, this paper examined learning and performance paradigms, two main paradigms in HRD research. Next, motivation strategies were suggested to facilitate these two paradigms from goal orientation perspective.
