- Abstract
- This study was conducted to analyze the effects of internalization to thinness and self objectification on body dissatisfaction and depression of female’s aerobic participants. A survey was carried out on a convenience sample of 200 female’s aerobic participants. The results were as folwloings. First, internalization to thinness of female’ s aerobic participants had not significantly effect on body disstaisfaction. Second, internalization to thinness of female’s aerobic participants had a positive effect on depression. Third, self objectification of female’s aerobic participants had a positive effect on body dissatisfaction. Fourt.h self objectification of female’s aerobic participant s had not significantly effect on depression. These results were discussed based on previous literature and theory.
