Abstract
Historical appended book, as another textbook has the characteristic of comprehensive information package. A secondary textbook appended in textbooks like the meaning of the word of Budo (appended book, appended chart) has the meaning of the book issued in textbooks relation to curriculum and textbook such an important historical feature, maps, graphics, statistics, illustrations, chronologies, and feed materials fostering on information gathering, processing, communication, discovery and inquiry skills, and historical thinking. The analysis of historical appended books of the eight species using from this year are able to identify the following meanings. First, the edition of the historical appended books is bigger than previous textbooks. Reflection of a variety of learning elements can be given a choice to being strengthened. Second, learning elements of a new form are considered as in the configuration of the contents. Students’ interest was induced by introducing elements like ‘Learning Cartoon’. Third, the reason is that the result of a reflection of the teachers’ creative ideas who participated in writing and also the reflecting of the new image data or figure materials is the most prominent point. Finally, the using of visual elements, such as DVD as educational materials and learning materials for teachers is required. It is necessary to be served as a means to encourage an active interest and concern for fun learning elements. Overall, the system and configuration of historical appended books of eight kinds of the current junior school can be evaluated handicaps indicated in previous appended books were complemented and republished. Therefore, the current historical appended books taking joint step with new history textbooks are expected to be served as a good guide to achieve the goal of history education as other comprehensive textbooks drawing together learner’s concern, interest, and historical enactment.
