- Abstract
- In OFDM-based underwater acoustic cellular (UAC) system, underwater equipment or sensor nodes need to detect the identity of an underwater base station (UBS) and synchronise it with a serving UBS in high Doppler environment. In this paper, a cell search technique (CST) based on linear frequency modulation with full bandwidth in the time domain (LFM-FT) is proposed. The performances (auto-correlation, cross-correlation) of the proposed techniques are analysed. It is demonstrated by simulation that the proposed technique perform better than previous technique (LFM-CST) in AWGN channels when high Doppler shift exists.
