Abstract
This study explores the process of incorporating of object on the photography and expressing the concept of physical properties of object into artworks which I have made through previous works and practices with artistic way. Based on the general characteristics of natural stone, the work was made as a medium of photography. Since then, the concept of physical properties has been dealt with in depth through the process of expressing three-dimensional properties on two-dimensional space. <Low, Quickdraw>(2019) work attempts to reproduce the physical characteristics of stones as visual image. In this work, I had focused beyond making photographs mechanically through the artist's involvement that focused on reconstructing the fantasy into photographs. As an extended concept of photographic media, I made realistic fantasy through visual image into images using with physical properties and spatiality expressed in photographs. In this study, the objects of reality are reproduced through the physical properties of stones, at the same time original property that do not converted into the language of photography properly. In this study, I critically examine the characteristics of traditional photography that I have learned so far and explore the changes in contemporary photography.
