- Abstract
- 본고에서는 근칭지시사 ‘此’와 ‘斯’의 접속사로의 문법화 경로에 대해 토론하였다. ‘此’는 ‘VP, 此+VP’ 구조에 사용된 ‘此’가 더 이상 선행명제를 대용하지 않을 때 주어에서 승접을 나타내는 절접속사로 문법화되며, 더 나아가 승접을 나타내는 문장접속사로도 변천한다. ‘斯’는 ‘V+斯+V’ 구조에서 병렬을 나타내는 구접속사로 사용되다가 ‘V, 斯+V(矣)’ 구조에서 승접을 나타내는 절접속사로 문법화된다. 우리는 이를 통해 근칭을 나타내는 지시사는 승접을 나타내는 접속사로 문법화된다는 사실을 알게 되었으며 동일한 근칭지시사라 할지라도 문법화 경로가 다를 수 있음을 확인하였다.
