- Abstract
- We have investigated the polarization-sensitive configurations of a planar-type seg mented germanium detector with in-beam gamma rays in Gd-155. The new configuration consisting of the segment pairs between the segment of incidence and its off-diagonal segments have shown the best polarization sensitivity and efficiency. With this configuration, ration, we have obtained the polarization values for the two interband transitions linking the recently found intermediate bands to the yrast band of Gd-155.
