Abstract
본 연구는 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 관점에서 태권도전공 교육과정에 대한 인식과 개선방안을 교육학적 측면에서 면밀히 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 참여자는 태권도전공 졸업생 및 태권도교육 전문가 총 10명으로 구성되었으며, 심층면담을 통해 수집되어진 자료는 텍스트 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 태권도전공 교육과정은 현장에서 요구하고 있는 직무능력에 대한 교육과정이 매우 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 구체적으로는 첫째, 실기 중심의 태권도전공 교육과정은 체육계열 교육커리큘럼이 그대로 적용되어 현장에서 크게 도움이 되지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 비균형적인 태권도전공 교육과정 영역으로 인해 자신의 전문영역에서만 자신감이 발휘되는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 태권도와 별개인 태권도전공의 교육과정으로 인해 금전적인 부분이나 시간적인 측면에서도 부정적인 생각들이 나타났다. 넷째, 현장실습의 부재로 인해 자신이 생각했던 현장 분위기와 실제 현장의 격차를 체감하고 있었다. 다섯째, 태권도 현장의 교육 수요자에 대한 전반적인 이해를 돕는 교육과정이 요구되었다. 여섯째, 실기능력이 뛰어난 전공자에게도 태권도 교육을 위해 필요한 능력함양이 요구되었다.
The purpose of this study was to examine the recognition and improvement plan of Taekwondo major curriculum from the point of view of the National Competency Standards (NCS) in detail from the pedagogical point of view. The participants of this study were Taekwondo graduates and Taekwondo education experts. The data collected through in depth interviews were analyzed by text and the following conclusions were obtained. First, the curriculum of Taekwondo special education centered on practical training was not applied to the field because it was applied to the physical education curriculum. Second, because of the non balanced Taekwondo major curriculum area, self confidence appears only in the professional area. Third, the curriculum of taekwondo major, which was different from Taekwondo, had negative thoughts in terms of money and time. Fourth, Taekwondo experience was significantly different from the atmosphere of the field because of lack of practice. Fifth, education of children, most of Taekwondo practitioners, was insufficient due to the Taekwondo education process which was distant from the education demanders. Sixth, Taekwondo needs to be understood along with the overall growth and development of children in contact with the field. Seventh, Taekwondo major was excellent in practical ability, but education was not sufficient by practical skill acquisition. Eighth, Taekwondo major curriculum shows that curriculum about job skills required in the field was very lacking.
