Abstract
We propose and demonstrate an efficient numerical approach which switches back and forth between real and Fourier spaces to handle dipolar field effects for heterogeneous three-dimensional structures. Applications to magnetic resonance imaging and improving field homogeneity are discussed. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
