- Abstract
- The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between positive psychological capital, athlete satisfaction, and team atmosphere for university athletes. To accomplish the purpose of this study, a total of 342 university athletes in Seoul and Gyeonggi provinces were sampled for convenience, and data were collected using positive psychological capital, athlete satisfaction, and team atmosphere measur ement tools. The results are as follows. First, the correlation between positive psychological capital, athlet e satisfaction, and team atmosphere was statistically (+)correlated with most sub factors. Second, as a result of structural equation model analysis, positive psychological capital has a statistically significant infl uence on athlete satisfaction, team atmosphere. Also athlete satisfaction has a statistically significant influe nce on team atmosphere. Based on this, positive psychological capital of athletes of university team was identified as variables influencing athlete satisfaction and team atmosphere. This study examined the relat ionship between positive psychological capital, athlete satisfaction, and team atmosphere. Therefore, thro ugh this study, the relationship between positive psychological capital, player satisfaction, and team atmo sphere was verified, and it is believed that it can be used as data to emphasize and use the importance of positive psychology to athletes and leaders in the sports field.
