자유학기제 운영에서의 청소년지도사 역할 탐색

Abstract

본 연구의 목적은 포커스그룹 인터뷰(FGI)를 활용하여 자유학기제 운영에 있어 청소년지도사의 역할을 탐색하는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 자유학기제를 실제 운영한 경험이 있는 교사 7명, 학부모 5명, 청소년지도사 6명을 연구참여자로 선정하였다. 대상별로 1회씩, 총 3회의 FGI가 진행되었고, 인터뷰 1회기 당 120분 정도가 소요되었다. 분석결과, 세 개의 영역, 이를 세분화한 여섯 가지의 청소년지도사 역할, 그리고 15개의 주요 업무를 도출하였다. 첫 번째 영역인 직접서비스는 프로그램 개발 및 운영과 인테이크 역할로 분류된다. 두 번째 연계서비스 영역은 활동관리와 활동조력, 세 번째 지원서비스 영역은 활동컨설팅과 안전관리 역할로 구분된다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 주요 연구함의들을 결론에서 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the roles of youth worker in operating the Free Learning Semester by using a Focus Group Interview (FGI). To achieve the study objective, 7 teachers, 5 parents, and 6 youth instructors who have actually run the Free Learning Semester were chosen as study participants. 3 sessions of FGI, or 1 session per subject, were carried out and each interview session took 120 minutes. The analysis result drew 3 areas, 6 roles of youth instructors that subdivided them, and 15 major duties. Direct service, the first area, was classified into program development and operation and intake roles. Secondly, the connected service area was classified into activity management and activity facilitate, and the support service area was divided into activity consulting and roles on safety management. Lastly, this study proposed major research implications in the conclusions based on the above results.
