Abstract
Destination travels are on the rise lately, and with it, there has also been a rise in appeal for food tourism. Among network societies, there are extensive informations on/offline provided by food and travel bloggers. This research analyzes three following types of food reviews as well as audience responses using the Q method. The first type is "personal information trust type," where the given information is trusted as it is from the direct source such as the local or a personal acquaintance. The second type is "online information trust type," where the audience has a wholehearted confidence in the information provided online, utilizing the material immediately and unreservedly. The third type is "multiple source user type," who uses a wide array of sources (on or offline) in collecting and utilizing the needed information. The three types have a commonality in that they all have some exposure and preference towards online bloggers, while books and applications are not as preferred when it comes to collecting the data. These research results can benefit travel marketers who are reaching out to clients who desire to know more information on food traveling.
