Abstract
In this work, we examined the effects of amide wax on properties of PA 66/GF composites. The amide waxes were prepared from stearic acid and various amine monomers such as hexamethylenediamine, diethylenetriamine and pphenylenediamine. PA 66/GF composites were fabricated by melt compounding and the prepared amide wax was also compounded simultaneously. The structure of the synthesized amide wax was analyzed by FT-IR. Rheological properties of the composites were investigated by capillary rheometer.
