Abstract
A dual beam laser Doppler vibrometer (LDV) system with body vibration compensation was developed. The operation of dual beam LDV was tested when the object was vibrating at 100 Hz with 50 μm amplitude, and the body was vibrating at 1 Hz with 5 cm amplitude. Results indicated that the auxiliary optical beam using residual beam from the beam splitter was documented from the main beam and could be used as an independent auxiliary LDV.
