대학 신입생 예비교육 프로그램 설계와 운영 방안 연구

Abstract

이 연구는 대학 신입생 예비 교육 프로그램을 개발하는 데 궁극적인 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 기존의 신입생 교육 관련 연구들을 세밀하게 분석하고, 이 과정에서 발견된 미진한 부분들을 보완하고자 하였다. 또한 설문 조사를 통해 그동안 간과되어왔던 신입생들의 의견을 수렴하여 조사․분석하고, 그들의 요구를 반영하여 교육 수요자 중심의 프로그램을 모색해 보았다. 입학해서 6주 동안의 기간이대학 신입생들의 중도 이탈 여부와 대학 몰입도에 큰 영향을 미친다고 주장했던Tinto의 이론을 바탕으로, 대학 신입생 예비교육 프로그램을 단기(하루)와 장기(6 주)로 나누어 각각 구성하였다. 그리고 Tinto의 ‘분리-전환-통합’의 단계를 참고하여, 신입생들이 대학 생활로 안전하게 진입할 수 있는 교육 주제와 내용을 담은프로그램을 고안하였다. 체계적인 대학 신입생 예비 교육 프로그램은 학교와 교수그리고 학생 간의 유대감을 형성하는데 중요한 매개체가 되어 줄 것이다. 본 연구에서 제안한 프로그램들 역시 그 중요한 매개체로 기능할 수 있기를 기대해 본다.

The study aims to develop a preliminary education program for university freshmen. I have studied the preceding studies for the subject of education for freshmen, and I have tried to supplement the deficiencies found here. They also examined the opinions of new students and reflected on what they wanted to know, and tried to become a program for students. Six weeks into the university s admission period, Tintoh accepted the theory that the university s freshmen had a huge impact on the university s freshmen and university concentration. The university s preliminary training programs were divided into short term (one-day) and long-term (6 weeks). Then, they made a program with educational topics and contents that help freshmen enter college life safely. Let s hope the proposed programs will be a way to enhance the ties between the freshmen and the university.
